Molex Displays Their Latest Products

The IEEE 2016 International Microwave Symposium (IMS) will be held in San Francisco, California, from May 22nd to May 27th at The Moscone Center. Here at this International Microwave Symposium, Molex will be presenting their diverse and innovative portfolio of RF/Microwave cable assemblies as well as connectors. Molex, the manufacturer of electronic, electrical, and fiber optic interconnection systems, will be displaying their portfolio in booth 1911. Molex designs, develops, and delivers integrated RF/Microwave solutions for a variety of industries, including medical, automotive, wireless, instrumentation, telecom, as well as defense and aerospace.

Molex is developing new, innovative ways to bring next-generation solutions to our customers,” said the product manager from Molex, Darren Schauer. “We have developed cutting edge technology and made strategic RF/Microwave acquisitions, allowing us to deliver solutions that feature high performance, design flexibility and excellent value.
Business Wire reported,
Molex products highlighted at the show include more than 90 RF connector interface types. The product and application portfolio includes Temp-Flex® specialty wire and cable products and the SDP Telecom product portfolio, which ranges from complex surface-mount passive microwave structures to sophisticated sub-assemblies and integrated subsystems. As a result, applications featured at the show range from I/O to radar, automotive, specialty cable, and cellular communications.

At the International Microwave Symposium, Molex will be displaying their Multi-Port 50 and 75 ohm connectors. These connectors will be offered in a variety of configurations in order to offer a solution for several RF channel applications. They can be customized to unique customer requirements. The Multiport RF series provides the most optimal size for any application where there are critical features such as quality, package size, VSWR, low loss, and ganged mating.

Molex will also be displaying their Temp-Flex® Foam-Core Ultra-Low-Loss Coaxial Microwave Cable, which offers both off-the-shelf as well as customized options. The cable features space savings along with an efficient dielectric which gets rid of “phase knee” while also providing ease of termination. The Temp-Flex® Foam-Core Ultra-Low-Loss Coaxial Microwave Cable is capable of achieving 80% velocity of propagation (VOP), enable it to provide reliable signal performance as well as reduced loss characteristics compared to air-enhanced PTFE cable.
