New T-Series Connectors With Full 360 Degree EMC Shielding
There are new Connector that are available with new features that will make connectors more convenient and easier to use, with full 360 degree push-pull feature makes it easier to connect. The LEMO T series has a small diameter and has a new innovative design that allows it to connect and be used in rough apparatus and water-tight links. This includes usage with defense, security, test measurements, medical and many other arrangements that require the use of secure and rugged connections. The T series Connectors are similar in technology to the LEMO B Series when it comes to the push-pull technology, however the T series includes a unique design that seals the connection totally with an inner sleeve and extra seal to prevent water from going in. The enables the IP68 water protection when mated.
The T series connectors provides 16 different configurations which are purposely designed to prevent cross connecting with other connectors. These configurations are available with solder, PCB or crimp contacts. The E-Mech Manager, Gary Evans, comments on how the T-series connectors are also great replacement for the popular LEMO B series range because they carry similar configuration and offer the same quality performance, but the T-series carry few extra features that can make them more desirable than the B series. The T-series have the same backward compatibility as the B series, also they have the same socket panel design which allows the customer to upgrade their connector without the need to change the front panel dimensions, because the new cable series will work with original design.
