Molex showcased its high-speed data connectivity solutions at DesignCon 2018 at booth 633. In response to the increase of generating data and infrastructure moving to the cloud, next-generation I/O and cabling solutions support faster processing, more bandwidth, increased density, and thermal management, while maximizing data flow efficiency and reliability in today’s data centers, according to Jairo Guerrero, the general manager at Molex.

Hirose has announced the release of the DF58 series for miniature applications. This wire-to board connectivity will deliver a space saving solution in a range that will consist of crimp sockets and headers lined up in a single row. The space on the board is shortened to 1.00 mm for the height and 4.97 mm for the depth.

TE Connectivity announced on their website on January 3 2017, that they are releasing a new type of Hermetic Connector called the DEUTSCH 983. This DEUTSCH 983 Series has a connector extension of gauge 22 contacts. Here is a little excerpt about the application of this connector.
