Industrial Cable-to-Cable Connector Hood - The Latest Life Proof Connectors
A new design of the Han F+B cable-to-cable has been released by Harting United Kingdom and Ireland. The connector has been improved and made to prevent moisture to be seeped through in the IP67 and the IP69K series. The Cable-to-cable industrial hood connector allows from dirt pockets to form on the cabling while being water splash resistant. The entries on both ends have been designed to be flexible and equipped with an easy entry which causes the reduction of installation time and effort.
The connectors and cables have been tested safe enough to be included in the food and beverage industry. With the latest IP67 and the IP69K series, replacement of cables and connectors would be faster and more efficient than having to,
"upgrade of previously non-extensible connections in the food and beverage industry, facilitating the rapid installation of devices such as fans, heaters or motors."
Not only has it been tested through the Harting specifications and regulations but has managed to abide by the Standard EHEDG guidelines.
These cables not only come in one size but have over 25 different inserts available for different size configurations. These different sizes are offered for,
"the connection and transmission of bus systems, signals and power (up to 40 A)."
One of the main perks that the cables offer and allows them to perform the way do is due to the “cap to cap “design of the protection caps. The cap to cap is a
"featuring a screwed connection between the hood cover and the gland cover, ensures the simple, dirt-pocket free storage at the point of use."
The caps work hand in hand with the connector to work up to its full potentional and reject the unwanted particles.
